Day 29

I tried Temple of Kotmogu, as all I needed was a win. Man, this is a fun Battleground, although it helps that the Alliance seemed to be asleep on this one. I got ToK All-Star, Powerball, and, of course, the victory. Running around at twice your usual size steamrollering the competition takes some beating.

Finally, it was back to the garrison for a little light fishing, and my final achievement in the challenge - Draenor Medic.

The challenge has reminded me of two things about WoW. Firstly, that there is a hell of a lot to do. There were so many things I wanted to do but didn't because I didn't need them for the challenge. Secondly, that this game will eat your life if you let it. There are so many games I haven't played because of this challenge. But right now, there's nothing I'd rather do that run Ulduar solo, or do some pet battling, or even raise my alts. This game is awesome, but it's also evil.

Now excuse me, I have to go empty my packs and go find something new.

Day 28, part deux

As I was heading to Moshu'gan Vaults to attempt a solo run, I saw a couple of people engaging the Sha of Anger, and thought - why not? A few minutes later, I had Settle Down, Bro, and only 4 more to go.

After reviewing the likelihood of getting the rest of the achievements, I sighed and headed back the the Battlegrounds. Somehow, I managed to get credit for All over the Isle, even though I only killed one guy. It seems that I had credit from the other kills from before, even though it is only supposed to apply if all the kills are in one match. I'm not complaining, I'll take what I can get at this point. 3 left.

After that, I had a look through my reminaing categories and realised there was at least one VERY easy achievement to get - Double Rainbow!

As it happens, we won handily anyway, I think the whole Alliance were Black Friday shopping. Either way, just 2 to go.

Day 28

Nothing for today. Battered Hilt came up on AH but really don't want to spend 5k on it.

Day 27

Good day today. I did my Cata raid, Bastion of Twilight with no problems, did a MoP scenario then popped into Tol Barad to see if it was Horde controlled. It wasn't, but the battle was only a minute away. I won Tol Barad solo since no-one goes there these days, then took out the Baradin Hold bosses. Finally, I used my fresh currency to buy the Tol Barad Searchlight, which brought me up to 25 toys.

Only five to go, although none of them look easy. Here's what my spreadsheet looks like.

That's probably it for today. I have 4 days to get the remaining 9 achievements out of a possible 23, at least 4 of which are practically impossible. I am pretty confident I can do it, as long as nothing comes up.
